Dear Fellow
Cattlemen: My family and I want to welcome you to our annual bull and female sale to be held at Madison County Auction on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. The years seem to fly by, and it seems like these sales come up faster each year. We are grateful for all the blessings bestowed upon us during 2006, but we are especially thankful for the birth of another grand-daughter, Katie Carstens Steward, as well as the news of another grandchild on the way in 2007. Zach, Madie, and Katie sure are fun! Even with this age of technology, everyone seems to be extremely busy, including us. We do everything possible to provide the information you need to make an informed decision by weighing, ultra sounding, vaccinating, and collecting data but the bottom line is that our cows must work like everyone else’s. They are not pampered. We feel like this is the only way to determine the genetic ability not feeding ability. We spend much time and energy trying to provide you with the best seed stock available, and we do stand behind our product. We appreciate you as a friend and a valued customer. If we can be of assistance to you, please don’t hesitate to ask.
The bulls are being
developed at the Menefee feed yard northwest of Guthrie Center,
Iowa. They are being fed a roughage diet in a large open lot. They
will be ultra sounded and semen checked, and will have had their
shots. If you want Dennis to keep them until spring, he will do that
for you for $1.50 a day. |
