I would like to introduce you to a bull that Matt Sutton, 1997 AICA Seedstock
Producer of the year, believes is the best bull that he has ever used. Matt
used Corona for three years on a random selection of cows. The results surpassed
anything he had seen in 35 years of analytical performance testing. His

Two years of ultrasound data shows the ribeyes and fat
thickness
of YL13 and Corona to be identical. Corona's marbling, however, was 10%
better than YL13. A one-year comparison shows Corona's marbling to be 23%
better than ASC Elminator.
All of Corona's calves are polled, gentle and phenotypically correct.
Corona would be a weaning and yearling weight trait leader with 2% more
accuracy. He is moderate framed, heavy-muscled, and has been used on heifers
very successfully. Calves from Matt's heifers averaged 71 pounds.
This is a bull that needs to be widely used in the industry. Matt tried
twenty straws in 1996 and bought an interest in HCR Corona 2105 in 1997.
You owe it to yourself to try a sampling for yourself. Semen is moderately
priced at $15/straw.
